Was the seventh airship built by Zeppelin in Friedrichshafen am Bodensee.

Damaged beyond repair after crashing on the seventh flight during a thunderstorm over the  Teutoburg Forest  on 28 June 1910. The rain water and an engine failure took the airship out of balance and it crashed into the trees in the Nadelwald at Limberg, near Bad Iburg. There was only 1 lightly wounded.
